Description | The Project was a part of the Resilient Futures India Initiative (RFII) which is an open partnership is building relationships between Indian and UK academic, civil society, policy and industry leaders. The initiative drives interdisciplinary research on resilience in areas such as urbanisation, gender equality, health, environmental sustainability, infrastructure and legal frameworks and is under the auspices of Queen Mary University of London. The project was set in the backdrop of enhancing global mental health and specifically focusses on child and adolescent mental health, and approaches to building individual and family resilience in the context of Low- and Middle-Income Countries. The project had a narrative review of literature with a focus on the countries of India and Kenya and sought to develop models of good practice, with a broad framework of research and implementation, scaling up, cost effectiveness and policy reforms with a view to ensure enhancement of child and adolescent mental health by focusing on integrated approach to enhance resilience. |
