Dr. S. Krithi

Dr. S. Krithi holds a PhD in Economics from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has worked extensively in the field of environmental economics. Her areas of current research include the Economics of Forest Restoration and Mitigation Policy; Natural Resource Valuation and Allocation; Women and Work. In addition, she is interested in gender politics and economics. Previously, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad where she taught multiple courses specializing in development and environmental economics. At JSJC she teaches both economics and environment-related courses with a heterodox perspective.
