Dr. Arundhathi

Dr. Arundhathi completed her MPhil and PhD in Women’s Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Her research interests include gender studies, urban studies and mobility studies. Her MPhil thesis documented the experiences of women loco-pilots in Indian Railways, whereas her PhD focussed on women passengers’ experiences of using the local trains of Mumbai. She has published her work in several reputed journals and edited books.
