Ms. Samiksha Das is a Lecturer at the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS) and a Ph.D. candidate at O.P. Jindal Global University. She holds two M.Phil. degrees — one in Psychology, with a specialization in Health, and one in Forensic Psychology and is F-PACT certified in Forensic Psychology (2022) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Her work bridges scholarship and national practice. She has co-authored a forthcoming book on forensics, currently under review by the National Human Rights Commission, and contributed to a national-level project funded by the Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) and executed by the Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Gurugram. Her research centres on forensic investigative tools including Brain Electrical Oscillation Signature Profiling (BEOSP), Polygraph, Layered Voice Analysis (LVA), Suspect Detection System (SDS), Electroencephalography (EEG), Eye Tracking, and Facial Expression Analysis — with allied interests in false memory, the reliability of eyewitness testimony and identification, and micro-expression and deception detection. Within Health Psychology, her work explores emotional regulation, self-regulation, learning styles, management of surgical stress, and coping mechanisms. She is currently expanding her research into the emerging field of Cyber Psychology. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed national and international journals of repute and presented at recognized national and international conferences.
