Smarnika Srivastava

Smarnika is a 2022 law graduate from Jindal Global Law School. She cultivated an interest in Academia as a profession in the third year of law school, which motivated her to apply for the 4+1 Dual Degree Pathways Program offered by JGLS. She completed her LL.M. from Kings College, London, majoring in Intellectual Property Laws during the 5-year BA.LLB. program.

She is majorly interested in Intellectual Property Laws, which lead her to take up additional courses in the subject, such as Copyright and Music, IP in the Healthcare Industry and Copyright in Multimedia. She is currently researching and writing a paper with discussions based on the confluence of copyright laws and data privacy. She is also interested in Constitutional Law and Feminist Jurisprudence.
