Robin Hickey is Professor of Law and Head of the School of Law at Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland. His research concerns foundational aspects of property law – he is  the author of Property and the Law of Finders (Hart, 2010); and an editor of the Conveyancer and Property Law journal, and of Moral Rhetoric and the Criminalisation of Squatting (Routledge, 2015); Landmark Cases on Property Law (Hart, 2015) and Modern Studies in Property Law, Volume 9 (Hart, 2017). He currently serves as President of the Association for Law, Property and Society, and is an academic member of the Property Bar Association in England & Wales. He has served as Head of the School of Law at Queen’s since October 2016, having previously served as Director of Education.
