Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) at JGU extends an invitation for a guest lecture by distinguished speakers Ms. Namita Shah and Ms. Vaibhavi Kuyhia, on Thursday, 24th April, from 3:00-6:00 PM. 

About the Session:
Ms. Namita Shah will be discussing her journey as a founder of a leading ODR platform in India. She will also share her valuable insight about key issues on ground, questions of law involving ODRs, the challenges ODR is resolving in alternative disputes resolution industry, and what the future of law & AI holds for ODR. This will be an enriching session where students will gain unparalleled insight into what a career in Legal Tech looks like and what impact one can create through Legal Tech.

Ms. Vaibhavi Khuthia will be conducting a dynamic session focused on the practical and nuanced world of mediation. With her background in dispute resolution, Vaibhavi will introduce students to the core concepts of mediation, the role of a mediator, and the importance of communication and negotiation in resolving conflicts. She will also guide participants through a mock mediation session, offering a hands-on experience of how mediation works in practice. This simulation will help students understand the procedural aspects, the interpersonal skills involved, and the challenges that mediators often navigate in real-life disputes.
