Ms. Adwita Maity

Adwitia secured an LLM Degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice from the Edinburgh Law School, The University of Edinburgh, where she developed her inclination towards the various aspects of Criminology and Criminal Justice, She also served her term as the Editor-in-Chief of the “Contemporary Challenges: The Global Crime, Justice and Security Journal”, Volume 3, and have actively taken part in various co-curricular activities ranging from Seminars to inter-university debates.

Adwitia graduated with a B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from the Department of Law, University of Calcutta, where she managed to secure promising results, secured internship experience with not for profit organisations, policy think tanks of national as well as international repute, and government sector law offices, which exposed her to diverse perspectives and benefitted her with writing, presenting and publishing her academic works.
