Swati Bisen is an experienced consultant and legal professional with a background in international organizations, political strategy, and law. Her career spans various sectors, including international diplomacy, political strategy, and legal practice, providing her with a broad understanding of issues at both the global and national levels. She has worked with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and UNESCO in Paris, where she contributed to the 1970 Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export, and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property. Her work in this capacity focused on curbing the illegal trafficking of cultural artifacts and supporting international efforts to protect cultural heritage.
In addition to her international consultancy experience, Swati played a key role as a political consultant during the 2024 National Elections in India. She was involved in shaping campaign strategies, advising on political messaging, and analyzing voter behavior.
Swati's legal credentials are further highlighted by her prior selection by the Indian Army for the Judge Advocate General (JAG) branch, where she secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 16.
Currently, Swati teaches law, where she brings her extensive experience in international organizations, political consultancy, and legal practice to the classroom. Her teaching is informed by her work in diverse fields, offering students a practical perspective on law and governance.
