Asadulla Iqbal completed his B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) from the Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University. He was awarded DAAD Fellowship to pursue Masters in European and International Law from Europa Institut, University of Saarland, Germany. He is currently a Ph.D. student at Jindal Global Law School.

Asadulla has previously worked at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, as a Teaching and Research Associate, and at Lloyd Law College as an Assistant Professor, where he taught Contract Law, Law of Human Rights, and Alternative Dispute Resolution and trained several teams for national and international moot competitions, including Henry Dunant Memorial, International Criminal Court, and Foreign Direct Investment moots. He has also worked as a Senior Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) in the School of Corporate Law, where he taught courses on company law and coordinated the training sessions for Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India Officers.  

His areas of interest include public international law, international trade and investment laws, and international dispute resolution.
