Ankita completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, in the year 2014, where she won the Randhir Singh Award for Excellence in Political Theory. She graduated with an LL.B. degree from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, in 2017. She then pursued her LL.M. from the London School of Economics as a Marchant Foundation Scholar. She was also the recipient of the LSE Master’s Award for the year 2017-18.

Before joining JGLS, Ankita was practising as an Advocate in the High Court of Delhi. Her areas of interest include legal theory, constitutional law, gender justice, and data privacy with a specific focus on the confluence of the legal system with politics.
