Mohak Rana

Mohak Rana is an Assistant Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed To Be University). He has completed his integrated Bachelor’s in business management and law with a focus in criminal law and IP law along with the Best All Rounder Award from NMIMS, Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai. Mohak is an alumnus of the United States leading IP Institue UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law (LL.M., Batch of 2020) where he researched the various facets of Intellectual Property Law and was also the recipient of the Community Builder Award 2020. He has completed his P.G. Diploma in Criminal Justice from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi. He also holds advanced certifications from WIPO in IP management, Trademark, and Copyright. He has also completed the Harvard Law School CopyrightX course.

Prior to joining the JGLS in 2022, he was the Managing Attorney at Yukti, wherein he and his team were catering to diverse clients with varied legal services. He is a licensed member of the Bar Council of Uttarakhand since 2018. He has also been invited to judge various moot court competitions. Mohak has always been a passionate learner and an IP Enthusiast with a keen interest in teaching. He is fuelled by his passion for dwelling deeper into understanding the aspects of law and this has been the reason behind his continued research interest in criminal law and IP law.
