Gayatri Virmani graduated with a B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School. She received a Distinction as a postgraduate with an LL.M., from Birkbeck, University of London. Gayatri’s area of interest lies in the theory of constitutional law, criminal law, critical theory, theory of gaze/image, and psychoanalytical jurisprudence. Her major area of interest is the interface between law and psychoanalysis. Her LLM dissertation focused on the relationship between the bodies of women and the body of the nation-state with respect to the Partition of ‘India’. She teaches Jurisprudence at Jindal Global Law School.
