Ms. Tanvi is an Assistant Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) and is currently completing her LL.M. at SOAS University of London, where her specialism is Law, Development and Globalisation. She completed her under graduation from West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) in 2020. During her undergraduate years, she worked on various research projects with different organisations and academicians. Prior to joining her LL.M. course, she was also a part of the Migrant Workers Project as Coordinator for research on labour laws and, of the research team of the Antahkarana Group’s project on Mental Healthcare Structure in India as legal research mentor.

Ms. Tanvi has a deep interest in Jurisprudence, Post-Colonial Theory, Legal Anthropology, Climate Change Law and Human Rights. She is particularly passionate about working on the intersection of development and human rights, with focus on the marginalised communities. Other than her law related pursuits, she is quite fond of reading variety of literature in the areas such as psychology, politics, behavioural economics, history, culture and anthropology. In her free time, she likes exploring fiction and non-fiction literature and art forms from different regions of the world and also dabbles with photography and fine arts.
