Karandeep Singh is a lecturer at the Jindal Global Law University. He holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Data Protection Law from King’s College London (2022-23). His research interests lie in the areas of intellectual property law, data protection law, and tech law. During his LL.M., Karandeep focused on trademarks, copyright, commercialisation of intellectual property, data protection, electronic commerce law, crypto and blockchain Law, and digital enforcement of IP. He worked as the LL.M. Representative at the KCL Law Society and the KCL IP and IT Society, and the Academic and Vocational Officer at the KCL Postgraduate Law Society. Karandeep pursued his bachelor’s in law at the University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (2014-19). He also completed a Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights – Law and Management at the Gujarat National Law University (2017-18).

Before completing his LL.M. at King’s., Karandeep previously worked as an Intellectual Property attorney at Saikrishna & Associates, New Delhi, for three years (2019-22) where he worked on trade mark, copyright, and data protection across the world. He represented over 100 Indian and international clients engaged in the alcoholic beverages, apparel, automotive, co-living, e-commerce, electronics, entertainment, finance, FMCG, hospitality, insurance, pharmaceutical, publishing, retail, and tech sectors.
