Aman Chandola

Aman pursued his undergraduate law degree from Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) and was awarded the GNLU Gold Medal for outstanding performance in B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.). At GNLU, Aman actively participated and received laurels for various national and international moot court competitions and also served as a member in various research centres, including centres for alternative dispute resolution, law and society, gender and sexuality. While at GNLU, Aman completed the one-year certificate course on “Peaceful Settlement of International Disputes”, conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel was recently elected to the UN International Law Commission. He also assisted Prof. (Dr.) Patel, then a member of the 21^st Law Commission of India, in preparation for a report on “Examination of Statutory Framework of Tribunals”. 

Thereafter, Aman enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India and served as a retained legal attorney in the Dispute Resolution practice at Cyril Amarchand Mangladas. His area of practice focused on insolvency proceedings, civil and commercial disputes, white-collar crimes, intellectual property rights and arbitration, before Courts and specialized Tribunals. 

Aman’s underlying academic yearning later contributed to his pursuit of the Master of Law  (LL.M.) programme at the University of Cambridge. At Cambridge, he read papers on corporate insolvency law, intellectual property rights, investment law and international commercial litigation, and was awarded the commercial law specialisation.
