Gitanjali Balkrishna

Gitanjali Balkrishna graduated from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, with a B.A.LL.B. (Hons.). After the completion of her qualifying law degree, Gitanjali worked as an intellectual property lawyer with Rahul Chaudhry & Partners and Anand & Anand. Thereafter, she went on to do her LL.M. in energy and resources law from the University of Melbourne. At Melbourne, she broadly focused on energy, environmental, and climate change law. She also took a special interest in the interface between law, development, and sustainability.

Her current research interests span the subject areas of environmental law, administrative law, and climate change.
