Student Services
Food @ Ease
A state-of-the-art kitchen with the best equipment ensures that a wide array of cuisines can be prepared. The food is served under hygienic conditions. The food services are made available in the dining hall of the University on a self-service basis.
Outlets at the JGU food court provide multi-cuisine options through brands such as Subway, Burger Point, 34 Chowringhee Lane, Street Food by Punjab Grill, Bercos, Moti Mahal, Domino’s Pizza, Breakfast Round the Clock {BRC} & Keventers. A wide range of Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food options are thus available for the benefit of the Students, Faculty, Staff and Guests/Visitors of JGU.
Laundry @ Ease
Washex, the laundry service offered at our university, provides students with a convenient and efficient way to manage their laundry needs. With Washex, students can easily schedule pickups and drop-offs for their laundry, allowing them to focus more on their studies and campus activities. The service is known for its reliability and quick turnaround times, ensuring that students receive their clean laundry promptly. Additionally, Washex offers environmentally friendly practices, such as energy-efficient machines and eco-friendly detergents, aligning with the university's commitment to sustainability. Overall, Washex plays a crucial role in enhancing the student experience by offering a hassle-free solution to laundry needs on campus.
Accommodation
The University Hall of Residence for students consists of several blocks of building designed by a French architect. There are corridors, open spaces and common rooms within each block of Jindal Global University Hostel. There are separate blocks for male and female students. The OP Jindal University hostel for students in these blocks follows international norms and the rooms are aesthetically furnished. Hygiene is an important consideration in these OP Jindal Global University hostels.

Our campus provides a wide range of sports and recreational facilities, enabling you to stay active, enhance your physical well-being, and pursue your passions.

At O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Our diverse range of clubs and societies offers a platform for you to explore your interests, develop new skills, and build lifelong connections. Whether you're passionate about debate, photography, entrepreneurship, community service, or any other field, there's a club or society at JGU that will ignite your enthusiasm.
Security
We have a strong Security, Safety and Vigilance department with more than 170 Male and Female security guards deployed daily round the clock 24×7 throughout the campus. The entire campus is covered by an effective surveillance system with more than 1000+ CCTV cameras placed at strategic locations. We also have a Quick Response Team to handle any untoward incident/situation 24×7 and conducts regular mock drills to ensure preparedness and readiness in responding to emergencies or critical situations. The campus has a robust fire and safety team with fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, smoke and heat detectors across the academic block and hostels. There is one Haryana Police post manned by male and female staff in front of University Main gate to assist in safety and security of the campus.
Health and Safety
We have a permanent Health Centre with all essential equipment and round the clock assistance available for students. The 3500 sq.ft. Health Centre has separate Male and Female wards, Consultation rooms, Physiotherapy treatment, Counselling, Meditation and Sample Collection rooms. The Health Centre has a strong team of qualified medical practitioners including four doctors, eight nursing staff, two physiotherapists, two student counsellors to provide all the necessary health care services. Doctors who specialize in ENT, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics visit’s the health centre once a month to provide specialized consultation services. A full-time medical residential medical officer and nurses are on duty 24×7. The on-campus Pharmacy near the Health Centre is open all days. The campus also has two Ambulances, operating 24 hours.
The Health Centre has an Indoor ward with 25 beds and a Flu ward with 5 beds that are fully equipped with bedside MGPS system (Oxygen Gas and Suction Pipelines), bedside Multipara Monitors, ECG Machines, a Ventilator, and a Defibrillator to handle any emergency at the JGU campus. Patients affected with any contagious disease can be treated under observation in the Flu Ward to reduce the transmission risk
Campus Accessibility
JGU endeavours to harness an inclusive learning environment for all its students. Students with a known disability, requiring different academic and other accommodations. We provide support to students with a wide range of health and learning related conditions. These conditions include physical and movement-related difficulties, visual impairment, hearing impairment, medical conditions, specific learning difficulties and mental health conditions. The Disability Support Committee maintains strict confidentiality in its discussions and respects the privacy of the students.
Our Disability Support Committee (DSC), provides a range of accommodations to the conditions identified by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, Mental Health Care Act 2017 and UGC Guidelines. The DSC maintains strict confidentiality in its discussions and respects the privacy of the students.
