JGU Student Experiences Abroad

“Having the opportunity to come to such a prestigious university represented for me more than a common abroad studying experience. First, the courses I have been attended were for me source of deep interest, not only for the subject per se, but also for the interactive and inclusive way of teaching by illustrious professors. I could be part to a very existing environment from the academic point of view, discovering new studying approaches and fundamental legal issues in the global scenario. On the other hand, I had fruitful collaboration with my classmates and I enjoyed my time with them.

Moreover, every time I needed any sort of help, all the International Office members were always extremely kind and available. Their activity and support constituted for me one of the best factors of Jindal organization. Indeed, the relationship between the International Office and me was not limited to the discussion of small or big issues concerning my stay in the campus, but it involved also pleasant time spent together, which represents one of my favorite souvenir of these four months. In conclusion, this exchange was for me the first time out from Europe. Thereby sometimes I found environmental difficulties, however, thanks to the International Office, faculty and friends, I am happy of my Jindal experience and I hope soon to return and develop further my process of personal and academic growth.”

“I started at OP Jindal Global University in Fall Semester 2018. I undertook a Capstone course within the Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA). This involved courses with research supervision from an experienced academic. The quality of the faculty is incredible, and they are very generous with their time. Within the course, I was also able to take on an internship with an institution in Delhi.

The opportunity to get hands-on experience while doing my research was essential in building a deeper understanding of India. The faculty and staff within the International Office were instrumental in setting up internships, as well as ensuring a smooth transition from my university in Australia. Jindal’s experience in international partnerships made collaborating with my university to credit my semester abroad very easy. I have formed enduring friendships over my time at Jindal. For anyone looking for world-class education in India, I would not hesitate to recommend OP Jindal Global University.”

– Geoffrey Flugge, Australian National University, Australia – JSIA Exchange Student, Fall 2018

“As an exchange student in Jindal Global Law School this fall semester, I feel so lucky to have such wonderful experience in O.P. Jindal Global University. First, JGU has the dense academic atmosphere. I have three subjects this semester: The International Refugee Law, Corporate Finance under Information Asymmetric and Customer Relationship Management. Since English is not my mother tongue, I am prostrated with the “language gap”. Professors tried their best to help me. And they infused ingenuous ideas, which are varied from I have learned previous in China. Having a comprehensive view to research is great. Campus has held plethora of activities to celebrate some festivals. Students’ eminent skills impressed me.

I want to express my gratitude towards officers in International Office. Thanks Mr. Akhil Bhardwaj and Ms. Bhuvaneswari. They help me a lot during my whole life in India. Once I am confronted with difficulties, they propitiated and accompanied with me to solve it. Now, I’m leaving and they are the ones I want to show appreciation.”
