Prof. Naren was invited by the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), Election Commission of India, to contribute to its forthcoming Online Certificate Course on Artificial Intelligence, Elections and Democratic Governance.

He will contribute to the module on Law, Regulation and Democratic Safeguards, covering topics including AI governance frameworks, data protection, regulatory preparedness, accountability, and safeguards for the use of AI in electoral processes. The programme is expected to engage a global audience of election management professionals, policymakers, democracy practitioners, and institutional stakeholders.

The invitation reflects Prof. Naren’s growing recognition in the fields of technology law, AI governance, and regulation, and his contribution to national and international discussions on responsible technological transformation and democratic resilience.
