The Centre is delighted to share that Prof. Paavni Jain, Assistant Director at the Centre and Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School, participated as a speaker in a panel discussion on “AI, Boards and Corporate Governance: What GCs and Directors Must Know Now.” The session explored the evolving role of artificial intelligence in corporate governance and the challenges faced by boards and legal professionals in navigating its adoption. During the discussion, Prof. Jain emphasised that AI governance and sustainability considerations must be addressed simultaneously, with responsible deployment and environmental concerns treated as parallel priorities rather than competing objectives. The panel brought together legal and corporate governance experts for a thought-provoking exchange on the opportunities, risks, and governance responsibilities arising from the increasing integration of AI into organisational decision-making.
