“JGU has provided me with freedom and the platform to express myself”, shares Harshita Agarwal while talking about her journey as a law student at O.P. Jindal Global University

Meet Harshita Agarwal, Student, BBA LLB (hons.) 2019 Batch, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU).

Harshita believes that life has a strange way of putting things in place for you. Currently, a third-year student at India’s No.1 Law School, coming to JGLS was never part of her plan. “I was preparing for my CLAT Exams, and it so happened that one day a friend of mine asked me to check out JGU as an option for pursuing law. Some unexpected things worked out and I landed up in JGU and I am glad to be here,” shares Harshita while talking about her journey of joining JGU.

While exploring her interest in Law, Harshita has always been fascinated by people making videos and sharing their life experiences through social media. While stuck at home during the COVID19 lockdown, Harshita came up with the idea of starting her own thing – a Youtube Channel. Her videos are not only fun and quirky but also provide a guide to students about college life and have been helpful to a lot of students while coming back to JGU Campus after two years.

“I love making videos and especially feel proud when I hear feedback about them from other students. The other day I met a group of students at the flagpole area who shared how my videos on the campus tour, room tours, and tips on law internships. Hearing all this makes the entire journey even more fulfilling and wholesome,” shares Harshita proudly while going through the comments on her latest video.

While being active online, Harshita makes sure that she is active in other areas of her life – she is an active basketball player and the captain of the University Basketball Team, has gone for Moot Court Competitions, NLUD and Christ University and loves to study in the global library. She also makes sure to take some time off and relax at the flagpole area, sitting with her friends and cracking jokes completes her day. At JGU, Harshita found her calling – not only for law but also for her other interests which are ensuring her holistic development.

“The level of comfort I feel at JGU is incomparable. This university has provided me with freedom and the people make the environment very comfortable for all. JGU has helped me find some beautiful friends, supportive faculty members, and access to a wide range of resources. I couldn’t have asked for more!”
