Our Global Footprints

Overseas Graduate Studies

Our alumni secured admission at reputed institutions such as the London School of Economics and School of Oriental and African Studies. Our students usually apply for graduate studies at universities in Asia, United Kingdom and the United States. We regularly conduct workshops and interactive sessions where students get a chance to interact with faculty at overseas institutions for valuable counsel on application and admission. We encourage students to apply for graduate student scholarships and make sure they are abreast with the latest information.

Student Exchange and Summer Schools

Our students regularly attend international summer schools and in the past participated at a prestigious programme at the University of California Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. In the past students visited KOC University Istanbul, Turkey and Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya near Tel Aviv in Israel to report on refugee/ immigration crisis, religious extremism and stories of ethnic/ diplomatic conflict. We collaborate with multiple overseas institutions including journalism, media and communication studies programmes at the Hong Kong Baptist University, The University of Sydney, Macquarie University, KOC University and the University of Derby. In the true spirit of remote learning, JSJC students were nominated to register for online courses at the University of Sydney; students of Universitas Pancasakti Tegal, Indonesia enrolled for our online courses. We also welcome international students to spend a semester at JSJC.
