Internships

Internships are opportunities for JSJC students to explore media, communications, and the film industry, build networks, and create a portfolio of their work. Students are expected to do at least 4 internships of 3.5 credits each. They need a total of 14 non‑academic, internship credits to graduate.

JSJC’s faculty members and the internship committee, and the Office of Career Services helps students find internships during the summer and winter vacations. Our students have earlier completed internships at legacy organisations such as the BBC, newspapers such as The Times of India, The Hindustan Times, The Indian Express, and Business Standard, magazines such as Outlook and India Today, news channels such as NDTV, CNN IBN and Zee News, and new media organisation such as Newslaundry and The Wire. They have also explored opportunities in social sector organisation, production houses, and other communication firms.
