The University provides extensive assistance to graduating students for placements. A dedicated professional Placement and Career Development Cell in co-ordination with elected student led Placement Committee conducts workshops on C.V. writing, job interviews, and offers individual career counselling. JSGP graduates typically get employed in non-profit organizations, government organizations, CSR initiatives, think tanks, research and consultancy firms. Some among our first batch of graduates have also joined academics, as research assistants and research associates. This career pathway will enable them to seek a PhD, broadly within field of Development Studies or within one of the more specialized fields of Economics, Political Science or Sociology.
