Internships

JSGP students have served on domestic as well as overseas internship positions including with some of the leading national and international NGOs. The internship element is systematically built into the curriculum; students complete two internships (one winter and another in summer) before they graduate. Internship work in the field is followed by a formal presentation of a report through a seminar. An internship often opens the pathways for a longer-term association with the interning organisation. Students receive extensive support in locating meaningful and challenging internships in their areas of interest.

While students of Public Policy mostly intern in the Development sector and Government departments, students studying Economics intern in the private sector.
