Course Structure

The curriculum comprises core and elective courses that are carefully balanced, drawing upon the classical tradition and the modern theoretical developments in the discipline and their application to real-world issues.*

Students are required to complete 90 credits, obtained from 15 core courses and 7 elective courses spread over 4 semesters, and write a dissertation or undertake a capstone project. Students are encouraged to specialise in their preferred fields through elective courses, those may be taken from any of the 8 Schools including courses in law, business, and international affairs. The University has a full-fledged language centre in which Mandarin, Spanish, French, German and Arabic languages are taught to students at no additional cost.
