Biography

Dr.  Archita Dutta brings her expertise in gender and organisational psychology.  She has received her doctoral degree from IIT Bombay and her thesis focuses on Women's need for mentorship at workplace.  

An expert on gender and workplace issues, she has worked on various research projects focussed on:  Mentorship at Workplace; Work-Family Balance; Contemporary Career forms and Implicit Biases towards women engineers. She has publications in international and national scopus indexed peer reviewed journals such as Gender in Management: An International Journal and Career Development International.

She has presented in national and international conferences of repute and holds a position in the review board of journals such as Career Development International. Her doctoral work on mentorship has received the Best Poster award in the graduate student category at the American Psychological Association Conference (APA Convention, 2022).

Prior to joining JIBS, Dr. Archita worked as an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Department of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Bengaluru Campus).

Dr. Archita is dedicated to fostering stimulating discussions on mental health and growth oriented learning. She is dedicated to extending her research on gender, workplace and other issues related to women.
