The Centre for Community Mental Health (CCMH) is an academic and research centre dedicated to advancing community mental health through public health, preventive, and systems-based approaches. Established in 2017, the centre responds to the growing recognition that mental health is both a fundamental component of public health and a critical determinant of individual, community, and societal development. The centre integrates research, education, policy engagement, implementation, and community partnerships to generate evidence that informs decision-making and improves population mental health.
CCMH serves as a platform for interdisciplinary scholarship, innovation, and collaboration. The centre develops academic programs, professional training, and continuing education initiatives for students, researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, policymakers, and community leaders.
