My name is Srutee Badu. I completed by B.A.,LL.B. (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School, O.P.Jindal Univeristy , Sonepat in the year 2018. Then I decided to pursue my LL.M. in Corporate Law from National Law University, Odisha in 2019. Between this period I worked as a litigating lawyer in the High Court of Delhi. During my tenure of undergoing LL.M, I took up teaching seminar course or Teaching Assistantship for the subject Transfer of Property Rights and this opened my doors for an interest in academics. I wrote my dissertation on the topic – “ JURISTIC PERSONALITY OF HINDU IDOLS: PROPERTY RELATIONS IN THE STATE OF ODISHA”. I have had the opportunity to work under various High Court and Supreme Court lawyers and various other organizations like The Hindustan Times Office, Sandersons Morgans & Co. Advocates and Solicitors, LawRato etc.
My interest area lies in the subjects like TPA, Banking Laws, Insurance Laws, Intellectual Property Rights, International Trade Law etc. I have a strong inclination to work for the tribal population living the state of Odisha. I believe research helps us to evolve as humans and teaching as a profession shapes a human. Therefore, these have very important roles to play in the society.
My other interest lies in learning about different cultures especially about tribal indigenous population living around the world.
