Suravi studied Law at the Harvard Law school specialising at International Humanitarian Law, also known as the Laws of War and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy where she got her LL.M. in International Law focusing on Human Rights, Peace Operations and Managing Non-Profits.

She completed her LL.B. from the Jindal Global Law School and took part in their prestigious Pathways to her LL.M.

She’s served as a Research Assistant in Constitutional Law in India and pursued her graduate research work under Dr. Chidi Anselm Odinkalu who previously chaired Nigeria’s National Human Rights Commission and served on the panel of eminent persons that negotiated the return of The Gambia to the Commonwealth in 2017.

She has also taught History at Tufts University, Global Politics and Debates at Pathways World School and represented India at various International Debates and Global Policy forums.

Suravi is a member of the American Society of International Law, The International Law Association and has been trained in Public Diplomacy by Tara Soneshine, former Undersecretary of State of the United States of America.

She got her Bachelor of Arts in History from the prestigious St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai and has been an ace International Debater winning a record number of debates in her school and college days.

She passed out of the Assam Valley School as Head Girl and with the Chairman’s Shield for Leadership.
