Ms. Bidisha has completed her BBA.LL.B. (Criminal Law Hons.) from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She was awarded the Vice Chancellor Attainment Scholarship and Commonwealth Bursary to pursue an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the School of Law & Social Justice, University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.

She has assisted and interned in the University Research Centre, District Courts, and High Court respectively. This has allowed her to meet with distinguished Professors and eminent lawyers which helped her understand and respect professional ethics. Apart from being extremely dedicated to legal research, Bidisha had brought national honors to the University starting with a number of publications in Peer Reviewed, Nationally, and Internationally Indexed Journals and in Edited Books like Thomson Reuters, Taylor & Francis, etc. She also became the ‘Best Speaker’ at the All India Moot Court Championship conducted by the University of North Bengal in 2020.

Her passion to unearth the mysteries in law books and legal practice made her a dedicated worker who explored all avenues to find the solution to the problems faced by marginalized communities in exerting their rights and availing the protection of the law, especially to establish an egalitarian Indian Society, made her a researcher in the making. In order to gain an understanding of the current situation and issues facing young people in relation to their human rights, she put herself forward and was later chosen to be a Women’s representative of the University of Liverpool at the National Conference and Liberation Conference, which was put on by the largest student organization in the UK, The NUS (National Union of Students).

Since Bidisha has thrust for knowledge and quest to unravel mysteries of law, she has completed 30 Short term/Certificate Programmes, Seminars, Conferences & Webinars from highly reputed Indian and Foreign Universities/Organizations like Oxford University, Harvard University, Monash University, Kings College, University of London, etc. Her interest in legal research has led her to be a member of a number of International Professional Bodies and Association. She has also been a student Panel member at Cambridge University Press since 2022.

Her Interest area revolves around Private & Public International Law, Human Rights Law, and Criminal Laws.
