Manisha Priyadarshni Bhagat was a Practicing Advocate in Jharkhand High Court and also was Associate Counsel to Government Advocate, Government of Jharkhand. She has graduated and received her Bachelor’s Degree ( B.A LL.B.,) from National University of Study and Research in Law, University in Ranchi, Jharkhand and further pursue her Masters in Law(L.L.M.) in Access to Justice from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai. She has been also legally assisting Jharkhand Jungle Bachao Andolan (JJBA) part of Bindrai Institute of Research Study and Action(BIRSA) Ranchi, an organization for marketing of the non-timber forest produce(NTFPs) and organic farm produce for establishment & strengthening of rural entrepreneurship.
Manisha Research interest has always been inclined toward Environment Law, Minorities right, Constitutional Law, thus selecting her dissertation topic as Salvaging Mother Earth Through Law Customs and Traditional Knowledge, “A Study of Oraon Tribe in Jharkhand”.
Apart from Law she has been actively involved in NGO’S dealing with welfare of women, children, animal welfare and also has a keen interest in cooking and baking. She, pictures herself as an Academician, Author, Researcher who would deliver her part of duty of giving back to the society.
