Kousik Ganguly

Kousik Ganguly is a lecturer at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University. He has completed his Ph.D. from Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur (Thesis submitted). Prior to joining JGLS, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the West Bengal University of Technology and also as a Relationship Manager at broking firm Religare Securities Ltd. He has 3 publications so far in ABDC, Scopus indexed journal.

He has published in journals like Finance Research Letters, Emerging Market Finance and Trade and also in Global Business Review (accepted). He has also worked as a Reviewer in various reputed journals likes of Finance Research Letters, and the International Journal of Managerial Finance. He has presented papers at numerous International and National conferences like likes South Western Finance Association Conference, Global Finance Conference, World Finance Conference (accepted), SEBI-NISM Research Conference, and the 8th PAN IIM World Management Conference. He has received the prestigious Best Paper Award from the 8th PAN IIM World Management Conference, in 2021 and the 3rd SEBI-NISM Research Conference, in 2022. His area of research mostly lies in Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance. His preferred subject of teaching are Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions Market, Valuations, Portfolio Management, and Financial Accounting.
