Aparajita has a Bachelor of Laws degree from I.L.S. Law College, Pune, 2015. She then worked in the firm, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, for a period of 3 years, post which, she pursued her Advanced Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Leiden University in Public International Law, with a Specialisation in International Criminal Law (2019). Her LL.M. thesis on ‘Command Responsibility: A Contemporary Exposition’ was supervised by Professor (Dr.) William Schabas.
Her areas of interest include International Criminal Law (specifically, defence rights), Public International Law and International Humanitarian Law
