International Collaborations
International Collaborations and Global Partnerships are integral to Jindal Global Law School’s (JGLS) commitment towards imparting innovative means of education in an open academic environment with global exposure. In keeping with O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed To Be University) mandate to promote public service, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) believes that students should be provided the opportunity to learn from and work with the best and brightest legal minds from all across the world.
A global approach to education has become imperative in today’s world where legal aspects need to be viewed from a multi-national and multi-dimensional perspective. The availability of varied resources has shaped our viewpoint and has emphasized the advantages of diverse participation for a better understanding of global issues. Hence, the idea of a collaboration that transcends geographical, cultural, economic and political boundaries, which is truly international, is the need of the hour.
It is with this vision that JGLS considers international associations for professional growth and holistic development to be of vital importance. Students reap the benefits of these associations and gain a broader perspective through their time spent in partner institutions, either by way of student exchange programmes or short-term study abroad programmes. Through some of the LL.M. pathway and Dual Degree programmes, students may also become qualified to practice in other jurisdictions such as United States of America, United Kingdom etc., while also securing qualifications to practice in India. Students gain the opportunity to experience legal education in different contextual and geographical settings and draw connections with the Indian system.
