Aishwarya Singh is a lecturer at Jindal Global Law School. She is a BCL graduate (Distinction) from the University of Oxford. She was also awarded the Oxford Law Faculty prizes for the best performance in Comparative Equality Law and Families and State: Adult Relationships.

She finished her undergraduate degree in law from Jindal Global Law School and was a silver medalist, coming second in her cohort. She was also a recipient of the award for Outstanding Contribution to Research.

She has worked as a judicial clerk for two years under Justice D.Y. Chandrachud at the Supreme Court of India. Prior to that, she has worked as an associate at AZB & Partners, Mumbai in their mergers and acquisition practice. She is qualified to practice law with the bar council of Maharashtra and Goa.

Aishwarya’s interest lies in constitutional law, anti-discrimination law, international human rights law and family law. She is interested in applying comparative and critical methodologies to analyse legal issues arising in these areas and their intersections.
