IDEATE Lab was recently created by our visionary Vice-Chancellor, as JGU’s flagship university-wide interdisciplinary initiative with a mission to help our JGU students, alumni and our wider stakeholders to: foster an innovative entrepreneurial mindset; nurture high impact ventures ; and build relevant ecosystem relationships including with early-stage investors.

I have the great privilege to be the founding Director of JGU IDEATE LAB and Family Business Centres, ably supported by my Deputy Director Professor Priyatej Kotipalli and our team. We are highly entrepreneurial in our mindset and impact focused in pursuit of this mission. 

The JGU Family Business Centre (FBC) is also housed within IDEATE Lab as a JGU wide initiative. It focuses on supporting business families through education, capability development, ecosystem connects, mentoring, consulting and international collaborations to help drive their family business’ performance, resilience, cohesion, governance and legacy impacts to the next level. The FBC recognizes the unique dynamics and impact of family businesses in India's growth story and works with both next-generation, incumbent generation family business leaders as well as their various stakeholders.
