CITEL is currently working on the One Road One Belt project initiated by Hong Kong WTO Research Institute and the Guanghua Law School at Zhejiang University to study the legal and trade policy regimes of various countries within the Silk Road Initiative. The Silk Road Initiative includes Central Asia, West Asia, the Middle East and Europe. This is known to be one of the largest intercontinental trade promotion initiatives in the world after the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement.
