ODS conducts seminar

 
The Office of Doctoral Studies (ODS) hosted in March a seminar on 'Harnessing the Strengths of AI in Doctoral Research while Engaging with its Ethical Complexities', bringing together scholars and faculty to explore one of the most defining themes in contemporary research.

The session featured Dr. Abhishek Bhati, Associate Professor, Bowling Green State University & Fulbright U.S. Scholar 2025-26, who delivered a talk covering how to leverage AI effectively; navigate ethical complexities for responsible AI use; and adopt balanced research practices.

On March 19, ODS held the first session of its Online PhD Open House for Fall 2026. The Open House was designed to deliver domain-specific, outcome-oriented guidance for doctoral scholars. The session conducted by Professor (Dr.) Krishan K. Pandey, Dean of ODS, explored themes such as building strong research proposals, identifying high-impact research gaps, and navigating the PhD application process.
