Jindal Institute of Leadership Development and Executive Education (JILDEE) conducted residential training programmes on different themes in the month of November and December. These programmes were customised based on the requirements of the organisation and tailor-made with topics of relevance. These programmes were organised on both national and international level for various government officers, with five days of domestic leg and five days of international leg.
“Public Policy & Governance” programme for the officers of the Government of West Bengal
JILDEE organised a two-week residential certificate programme on “Public Policy & Governance” for 21 civil service officers of Government of West Bengal in collaboration with Jindal School of Government and Public Policy & Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of the National University of Singapore. It was organised from November 25-December 6. The programme consisted of domestic leg at JGU campus and a foreign leg in Lee Kuan Yew School, Singapore. The first session was hosted by JILDEE Senior Director Lt Gen Dr Rajesh Kochhar on strategic leadership wherein he emphasised on the importance of good leadership that can enhance the productivity of the organisation. Another landmark was the visit by Arnab Roy, IAS (Principal Secretary), who conducted a case study on governance in West Bengal for over two sessions.
“Team Building, Communication Skills, Leadership & Motivation” programme for officers of Haryana government
A four-day residential certificate programme was also organised between December 3-6 on “Team Building, Communication Skills, Leadership & Motivation” for the civil service officers of the Government of Haryana in collaboration with Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences. Dr Sanjeev P Sahni, Principal Director – JIBS, Professor & Member, Governing Body and Advisor to the Vice Chancellor was the academic director of this programme. The session in the programme included Effective Communication, Motivation at the workplace, Leadership Style & Strategy, Maximizing Human Potential through Behavioural Competencies, and Emotional Intelligence, etc. A batch of 14 Haryana Civil Service officers participated in the programme.
