Biography

Sabeela Siddiqui is an Assistant Lecturer at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy and a PhD candidate at the School of Public Policy, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She holds a postgraduate degree in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University, following her undergraduate studies in Mathematics and Physics.

Her professional experience spans multiple roles in public policy and governance. She was a Chief Minister’s Rural Development Fellow with the Government of Maharashtra, where she contributed to the holistic development of Gram Panchayat in Maharashtra and provided policy recommendations to the state government. Additionally, she has served as a Research Fellow at Haqdarshak Empowerment Solutions Pvt. Ltd., focusing on the welfare schemes of Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. She also worked with RightWalk Foundation as a Policy, Strategy, and Growth Manager, collaborating with UNICEF on a policy initiative. Before joining JGU, she was an Assistant Programme Manager in the Office of Academic Affairs at Ashoka University, overseeing various academic functions of the institution.
