Rahul Menon is an Associate Professor in the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy. Having completed his PhD from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning at Jawaharlal Nehru University, he taught for several years in prestigious institutions such as St Xavier's College Mumbai and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad. His published work largely focuses on questions of unemployment and inequality in the Indian economy.
