Brief BIO:
Bartosz W. Wojciechowski (PhD) is an experienced forensic psychologist, attorney at law and patent attorney. Currently an associate professor at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland; previously worked in the Clinical and Forensic Psychology Institute at the Silesian University in Katowice, Poland where he has developed an innovative and accurate content analysis technique - MASAM (Multivariable Adult Witnesses Statement Assessment Model) and conducted research on use of several other content analysis tools for adult witnesses’ statements.
Currently he is working on application of the quantum probability theory to psychology and law. He is one of the first to apply quantum principles in legal decision making. His research shows how quantum probability theory can be applied to psychology and law to deepen our understanding of psychological and legal issues, suggesting a paradigm shift in the study of these areas. In his new book “Quantum probability theory, psychology and law. Modelling Legal Decision Making with Quantum Principles” (by Routledge), Wojciechowski shows how quantum theory and concepts can be transferred to psychological research models and can help to resolve previously unexplained psychological phenomena, influence scientific views, undermine traditional foundations of the legal system and result in the development of new research directions.
