MA in Public Policy (O. P. Jindal Global University)
Riddhi Sharma works as a Senior Research Fellow at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy. Her interest in public policy and quantitative and qualitative research methods has escalated in the past few years through significant academic contributions. Her passion lies in integrating diverse perspectives to enhance understanding and application of the complex subjects of policymaking.
Through the work she has done during her engineering days (BTech Computer Science) and in the two years of her post-graduation in Masters in Public Policy, she has learnt to use her vivid personality traits as a tool to exist and reflect as a positive and productive individual. Previously, she completed her internship at NITI Aayog, where she largely worked in the economic and social policymaking domain. Her policy memo on the vicious concoction of multiple borrowing and the role of microfinance institutions stood out as a weapon to stabilise the financial atrocities in India. Her internship at the Competition Commission of India (CCI), The Kailash Satyarthi Children Foundation, Raisina House, MTNL and UDRO Foundation have been equally enriching. From analyzing competition in Private Equity Firms and killer acquisitions to researching on universal healthcare using theories of international relations to further helping the underprivileged children living in slums to understand the utility of maintaining basic hygiene and the significance of education during her internships have truly motivated her to be a dynamic policy analyst. She believes that working at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy has truly been the best catalyst in the process.
She is committed to fostering a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, innovation, and holistic understanding.
