Biography

Indranil is a Professor at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana, India. He has a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He teaches Public Health, Health Economics, Development Economics, Survey Design, Mixed Method Research, Political Economy of Health and Comparative Health Systems at JGU. He works on various themes related to health care financing, costing of health interventions, Climate change and human health, impact evaluation of health insurance programmes, health expenditure tracking, access to medicines, inequalities, etc. He is currently the Indian Country PI of a research grant on “Health Financing Fragmentation and Universal Health Coverage” supported by NIHR, UK. Indranil has more than eighteen years of research and teaching experience and has lead several research studies on health financing and policies. He has several international and national publications to his credit. He is the co-editor of Jindal Journal of Public Policy.
