Dr. Priti Agarwal is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, OP Jindal Global University. She completed her Ph.D. in Economics in 2021 from the Centre for International Trade and Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She is particularly interested in empirical work pertaining to Sustainable Development, Environmental and Natural Resource Economics. Her research work is published in peer-reviewed international journals. Her current research focusses on renewable/non-renewable energy, natural capital, forest capital, sustainable growth and environmental pollution. She has over 9 years of teaching experience in several reputed colleges of University of Delhi such as College of Vocational Studies, Sri Venkateshwara College, Indraprastha College for Women, Lakshmi Bai College and Mata Sundari College for Women. She has taught papers such as Environmental Economics, Economic Growth and Development, International Economics, Basic and Applied Econometrics, Research Methodology, Micro and Macro Economics among others. She has also served as Visiting (Guest) Faculty at the TERI School of Advanced Studies (New Delhi) where she taught the course ‘Natural Resource Economics’ to M.Sc. (Economics) students. Besides her academic interest in environmental issues, she tries to incorporate sustainable practices in her day-to-day living as much as possible.
