What Makes It Different at JGU

The BBA LL.B. (Hons.) programme at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) offers a comprehensive understanding of the legal field by integrating business, management, and law. This interdisciplinary approach equips students with the ability to apply legal principles to real-world scenarios. The programme includes foundational courses and allows students to explore their interests through elective courses and independent research projects.

Internships provide students with opportunities to gain practical experience in a range of industries, including corporate, law firms, small businesses, start-ups, advisory and legal consultancies, CAs, CSs, CFAs firms, contract law-related opportunities, international law firms, and international organizations.
By the end of the programme, BBA LL.B. students will have developed the skills to communicate effectively in a legal setting, interpret and apply laws, specialize in legal subjects of their interest, explore niche options in the legal industry, and succeed in legal employment. The programme provides a solid foundation for students who wish to pursue higher studies in the field of law.

10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks (CBSE, ISC, State Boards, IB, Cambridge and other Govt. Recognised Boards) and LNAT-UK Exam. Jindal Global Law School does not accept any other law school admissions test.

LNAT was developed by a consortium of UK universities as a fair way to assess a candidate’s potential to study law at undergraduate level. The LNAT is written and calibrated by Edexcel for Pearson VUE, the world’s leading computer-based testing and assessment business.

JGLS offers a BBA LL.B (Hons) Curriculum comprising both compulsory and elective courses, each of a maximum one-semester duration. JGLS’s Office of Career Services (OCS) provides students with career mentoring and counseling through JGLS faculty members from various areas of practice to help students explore different career paths and choose the right one. OCS offers a range of programmes, training, and resources to prepare students for success in their careers, including internships and placement opportunities facilitated through multiple collaborations and MoUs.

The OCS conducts workshops, guest lectures, industry talks, and field visits throughout the year to help students sharpen their skills, gain industry intelligence, and access career opportunities. These programmes are available to students at every stage of their law school journey, including training and career opportunities for JGLS alumni.

JGLS’s placements are a result of various career development activities undertaken during a law student’s time at the school. These activities begin in the penultimate year with the ‘Zero Day Placement Event’, organized for top corporate law firms, foreign law firms, and selected corporates. The larger recruitment drive takes place in the final year, with on and off-campus hiring by corporate firms, NGOs, and law firms, totaling around 40-50 organizations engaging with the Office of Career Services (OCS) for hiring.

Merit-cum-means scholarship shall be awarded to students qualifying LNAT-UK Subject to parental ITR criteria as defined by the university.

JGLS believes that an international experience is essential for students to recognize and embrace different cultural and community perspectives, creating new career opportunities and broadening their worldview. To facilitate this, JGLS offers a range of geographically diverse and academically enriching Student Exchange programmes for one semester. These programmes offer students the opportunity to study abroad at one of JGLS’s partner institutions, spread across varying legal systems, and bring back a unique learning experience. The exchanges not only enrich students’ academic and professional lives, but also enhance language learning, intercultural skills, self-reliance, and self-awareness, making them citizens of the world.

The programme is open to students pursuing the five-year B.Com. / B.B.A. LL.B / B.A. LL.B, three-year LL.B., and one-year LL.M. programmes. Eligible students from JGLS spend a semester at one of our partner institutions across the globe, and the programme is revenue-neutral with respect to tuition fees.
