International Symposium on “Contemporary Issues in Public Law” at Australian High Commission and O.P. Jindal Global University in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, the University of Oxford, and National University of Singapore


On 8 April 2018, Jindal Global Law School hosted an international symposium in collaboration with three institutional partners - the University of Melbourne, the University of Oxford, and National University of Singapore. During the opening session of the symposium at the Australian High Commission, Mr. Chris Elstoft, Deputy High Commissioner to India from Australia, addressed the participants. In addition, Professor Kate O’Regan, former Justice of the South African Constitutional Court and Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, Founding Vice Chancellor, O. P. Jindal Global University discussed the importance of comparative public law. Throughout the symposium, representatives from Jindal Global Law School, Melbourne law School, National University of Singapore, the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, University of Oxford and National Law University, Delhi also discussed critical issues in the field of public law from a comparative perspective.
