On 19 January 2018, Dr. Shashi Tharoor Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Author addressed a delegation of Australian students who were participating in the India Immersion Programme run by the Centre for India Australia Studies. The students were from The Australian National University, Monash University, Murdoch University and the University of New South Wales. During the speech, Dr. Tharoor touched on various topics including, Hinduism, Hindu nationalism, the diversity of India and India’s position in global international relations.
